This CLE will review the important aspects of the IOLTA that every lawyer should know. Do you know what is required to be on your client ledger? Do you know what makes up the required three-way reconciliation? Why should you wait for deposits to clear and how not waiting increases the risk of fraud? Do you know what your staff can do on the IOLTA? What happens when your client goes missing and you still have money?
